Mount Bromo is one tourist destination in East Java. These natural attractions are located in the city of Malang, East Java. Visitors not only local tourists, even many who come from abroad. With the typical scenery makes Bromo worthy destination.

Mount Bromo is a volcano is still active and most famous as a tourist attraction in East Java. As a tourist attraction, Mount Bromo become attractive because of its status as a still active volcano.

For residents of Mount Bromo, Tengger tribe, Mount Brahma (Bromo), believed to be the sacred mountain. Tengger once a year held a ceremony; Yadnya Kasada or Kasodo. This ceremony is held at a temple which is under the northern foot of Mount Bromo and Mount Bromo was continued to the summit. The ceremony was held at midnight to early morning every full moon around the 14th or 15th of the month Kasodo (tenth) according to the Javanese calendar.

Pangandaran Beach Tourism - West Java

Pangandaran is located on the southern coast of Java. Pangandaran is a small town and a subdistrict in southern Ciamis regency, West Java, Indonesia. Pangandaran is a popular tourist destination, having a beach which is considered to be one of the finest in Java and which offers excellent surfing.

Pangandaran is an old secondary forest aged between 50 - 60 years, dominated the area of natural tourist attractions Pangandaran. The rest is a primary forest remnants that are not widespread and scattered location, and a little coastal forest.

With a wide range of floranya, Pangandaran nature tourism park is a suitable habitat for the life of wild animals. Types of wildlife that can be found in this area include: Tando (long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis), langur
(Presbytis cristata), bats (Pteropus campyrus), Banteng (Bos sondaicus), Deer (Cervus timorensis) (Tragulus javanica), and porcupine (Hystrix javanica).

In addition to attractions such as natural forests and plantations, another attraction is the white sand beaches, natural caves and historical relics as well as Stone Kalde.

Nusakambangan Island

Nusa Kambangan is the name of an island in Central Java is known as a place located several correctional facility (LP) ber high security in Indonesia.

To reach this island people have to cross by ferry from the port of Cilacap in particular for approximately five minutes. The ferry port of this island called Wijayapura.

Kambangan island, which has status as nature reserves, often used in addition to military training, is also a habitat for rare trees, but many have been felled illegally. Currently the remaining are mostly herbaceous plant, palm, and thickets. Pawlar timber that can only be found on the island is often stolen because once dried, has a quality equal to the wood from Borneo.

Tourism in Karanganyar : Tawangmangu

Tawangmangu known as a tourist attraction on the slopes of the mountains west of Mount Lawu which can be reached by land vehicles for about an hour from the city of Surakarta (Solo).

Tawangmangu is located 40 km east of Solo, this recreational resort offers fresh weather; scenic views, swimming pools, bungalow style hotels and restaurants. A cool splendid hill resort also on the slope of mount Lawu, at about 1400 M height above sea level. The road from Solo via Karangpandan is a fine trip thru magnificent green terraced hills.

From Tawangmangu can start climbing to the summit of Mount Lawu (Pos Cemorokandang). Besides, from here there is the pass that led to the Telaga Sarangan, in Magetan through Cemorosewu.

Tawangmangu has all kind of facilities, hotel, camping ground, forest tourism, etc. The climate is fresh and one can enjoy the beautiful scenery. Other features include nearby temples, a national park and 40m in high waterfall of Grojogan Sewu.
